Sixty-seven 8th-12th century wall paintings from the Early Christian Cathedral in Faras, Lower Nubia (now in Sudan). The collection in Warsaw represents just over half of the painted decorations of the Cathedral (no longer in existence); the remainder are in the museum in Khartoum.
